GMAT Math Bible Excerpt: Rates

As you may know, this week I released the long-awaited GMAT Math Bible. As promised, today I'm offered a free excerpt from the book. It's the tutorial on rates, which covers everything from the basics to much more complicated rate problems that show up on the GMAT.

Remember that, in the GMAT Math Bible itself, a tutorial like this one (there are over forty of them, covering every topic on the test!) is followed by 10-20 exercises designed to test whether you understand the concepts. Then there are five realistic practice GMAT problems to further help you master the subject.
