GMAT Verbal Bible Excerpt: RC Passage Structures
July 09, 2008The GMAT Verbal Bible contains over 40 different chapters, covering every type of GMAT Verbal question as well as several underlying patterns, such as the content you're likely to see on Reading Comprehension passages and the argument structures you'll encounter on Critical Reasoning questions.
The GMAT Verbal Bible includes practice questions as well, giving you practice on the concepts discussed in the text. The questions come with a thorough explanations that are, in my opinion, one of the most valuable parts of the book.
There are several Verbal-related articles on this site (you can see the tables of contents for each Verbal question type here, here, and here), but if you want a sample of my approach direct from the book, here it is.
The excerpt is the fourth of the ten chapters in the Reading Comprehension section, and it describes the three passage structures you'll face in GMAT Reading Comprehension. Click here for the excerpt. To see how it fits in to the broader organization of the book, click here for the Table of Contents.
