Explanation: A rectangular solid's volume is expressed by the product of its length, width, and height, or v = lwh. If the sandbox has a capacity (another way of saying volume) of 10 cubic feet, then lwh = 10. If a similar sandbox doubled each of the measurements, the volume would be equivalent to (2l)(2w)(2h) = 8lwh. Since we know that lwh = 10, 8lwh = 8(10) = 80, choice (D).
