Today I'm trying something new: a video explanation! It's my first attempt at video blogging, so it's a little rough around the edges.
Armed with a Flip camera and a whiteboard, I walk you through a tricky overlapping sets question from the diagnostic test of The Official Guide. It's a good primer for everybody--I take it slow and explain a lot of the intermediate steps of setting up a table for this sort of question.
You can watch the video here or click over to YouTube if you'd like.
Remember, I've created (print) explanations to every Quant problem in The Official Guide for GMAT Review and The Official Guide for Quantitative Review. Find out more about those resources here.
About the author: Jeff Sackmann has written many GMAT preparation books, including the popular Total GMAT Math, Total GMAT Verbal, and GMAT 111. He has also created explanations for problems in The Official Guide, as well as 1,800 practice GMAT math questions.
