Explanation: The first step is to find the amount of time it takes to travel 840 miles at 60 miles per hour. r = ((d)/(t)), so 60 = (840/(t)), 60t = 840, and t = (840/60) = 14. 14 hours before 6:00pm is 4:00am, Chicago time. Since Chicago time is one hour earlier than New York time, the answer is 4 + 1 = 5:00am, choice (B).
